🌛 ABOUT THE WITCH BEHIND THE CAULDRON 🌜
Hi, I’m Shell—creator of The Witchy Trinket Cauldron (TWTC) and a lifelong lover of all things mystical, magical, and a little bit sparkly! ✨

My passion for the mysterious began as a child. My sister and I would spend hours reading tarot cards, casting spells, making potions, and talking to spirits.
From childhood books like Meg and Mog and The Worst Witch, to the witchy pop culture of my teen years in the 90s—Sabrina, The Craft, Charmed—I was always drawn to that world. I guess my love for all things mystical has always been there.
I’ve always dreamed of having a little shop filled with crystals, mystical wares, and handmade treasures, but for the longest time, life (and a sprinkle of imposter syndrome) kept that dream on hold.
But 2025 brought a shift. As I approach my 50th birthday, navigate the menopause (they don’t call it the change for nothing!), and prepare for a big move from East London to the South West of England, I felt the pull stronger than ever: this is the year to finally do it.

I’m a lifelong creative—blogger (you might know me from The Purple Pumpkin Blog), maker, magpie, and eclectic witch at heart.
Whether I’m crafting a sun catcher, designing a printable, or curating a mystery trinket cauldron, my joy comes from sharing that spark of creativity and magic with others.
☀️ Fun fact: My showcase handmade products are my sun catchers. I’m a bit of a sun worshiper! I was born during the heatwave of ’76, and while I’m an September baby (Virgo sun, Gemini rising!) who adores the changing season, I absolutely thrive in the sunshine. It’s no wonder that shiny, sparkling sun catchers fill me with joy!
🎃 I also have a lifelong love for Halloween (if you know TPPB, you’ll know I can’t resist a Halloween recipe or craft), the color purple, and, of course, pumpkins themselves!
💜 A bit about my magic 💜
- My practice is eclectic—I’m inspired by history, my heritage (Greek Cypriot and Lithuanian), and different spiritual paths, blending them in a way that feels right for me.
- I adore crystals, and have studied to be a Crystal Healer. Amethyst is my favorite, but I’m also drawn to fluorite, mookaite, and malachite.
- I use herbs, crystals, and candles often, in my practice.
- I especially love crafting spell bowls, bags, jars, and stirring up a mini cauldron simmer pot.
- I junk journal and zentangle to clear my head and connect to my intentions.
✨ About The Witchy Trinket Cauldron ✨
The Witchy Trinket Cauldron is my small, heartfelt business where you’ll find:
🧿Handmade trinkets like sun catchers, keyrings, bookmarks, and more—each with its own theme and intention
🔮Mystery trinket cauldrons packed with crystals, charms, and treasures
🌿Crystals, magical tools, and curated mystical goods
📄Free printable grimoire pages for our Coven members, with more on the way
👉 Important note: 📦 The cauldron currently ships to the UK (excluding Northern Ireland), Australia, and New Zealand. 🌍Sadly, we can’t yet send our treasures to the USA (tariffs and import rules make it impossible at this stage), Canada (complicated tax laws I can’t comply with yet), or Europe (the EU’s GSPR regulations prevent small shops like mine from selling there)—but I’m keeping an eye on the crystal ball for when the rules shift. 🔮

🧙♀️ A final note from me 🧙♀️
Like many creative souls with ADHD, my brain is always buzzing with ideas! That’s part of the reason it’s taken me so long to get this shop off the ground—I want to do everything! But I’m (slowly) learning to be mindful and purposeful, so TWTC grows at a pace that feels good. I also live with chronic pain, so sometimes I need to pause and rest—then come back with fresh energy.
There’ll be a mixture of handmade trinkets, crystals, cauldrons, printables (both free and premium), and magical treasures… and I’ve got lots more ideas for the future!
💌 Thank you for stopping by—I’m so excited to share this magical journey with you!
