Backflow incense cones are designed with a hollow centre, allowing the smoke to travel downward instead of rising like a regular cone. When used with this burner, the smoke flows from the Green Man’s mouth and pools gently at the base. For best results, use indoors, away from draughts, and allow a few minutes for the effect to begin.

🔥 Please Note: Smoke from backflow cones can stain—place burner on a heatproof mat to protect surfaces. Backflow cones often leave a light, oily residue; this is normal. Clean your burner between uses to prevent buildup.

✨ How to Use Backflow Cones

Place your burner on a stable, heat-proof, and protected surface.
Position the backflow cone over the small hole or channel at the top of the burner—this is where the smoke will flow through.
Light the tip of the cone until it glows, then gently blow out the flame so it begins to smoulder.
Allow a few minutes for the falling-smoke effect to begin.
Keep the area free of draughts so the smoke effect can form properly.
After use, wipe away any residue with a soft damp cloth once the burner has cooled.
