🌙 About Backflow Cones

Backflow incense cones are specially designed with a hollow tunnel through the centre, allowing the smoke to pull downward rather than rise like a regular cone. When lit, the smoke sinks through the burner and creates a soft, misty waterfall effect.

Regular cones won’t create this flowing smoke—only backflow cones have the structure needed for that cascading, magical look. For best results, use indoors, away from draughts, and allow a few minutes for the effect to begin.

🔥 Please Note: Smoke from backflow cones can stain—place burner on a heatproof mat to protect surfaces. Backflow cones often leave a light, oily residue; this is normal. Clean your burner between uses to prevent buildup.

✨ How to Use Backflow Cones

• Place your burner on a stable, heat-proof, and protected surface.
• Position the backflow cone over the small hole or channel at the top of the burner — this is where the smoke will flow through.
• Light the tip of the cone until it glows, then gently blow out the flame so it begins to smoulder.
• Allow a few minutes for the smoke to start pulling downward. Backflow cones often take up to 10 minutes to create the full cascade.
• Keep the area free of draughts so the waterfall effect can form properly.
• After use, wipe away any residue with a soft damp cloth once the burner has cooled.
